Steve Herrmann has broad experience in both the business and litigation areas of the practice of law. After serving as the Special Assistant to the General Counsel of the United States Environmental Protection Agency, Steve joined the firm in 1972.
A past president of the firm, Steve has more than 30 years’ experience in advising boards of directors on corporate governance issues and in litigating these issues before the Delaware Court of Chancery. Steve is a charter member of the Advisory Board of the Weinberger Center. He has also handled major commercial litigation in federal and state courts in Delaware as well as other states.
Steve was the first adjunct professor in environmental law at Widener University Law School, and the first chairman of the board of the American College of Environmental Lawyers. In addition, he has spoken on environmental law at numerous seminars.
Steve advises clients on complex commercial transactions, particularly in the area of aircraft financing and sale. He has been a speaker on various aviation issues at meetings held by McGraw-Hill's Aviation Daily and by the International Association of Aircraft Appraisers.
